Introduction
Principle & Structure
The ultrasonic level gauge is installed on the sensor above the measured medium. Under the control of the transmitter, the sensor emits a beam of ultrasonic pulses to the surface of the measured object, and the sound wave is reflected by the surface of the object and received by the sensor to convert it into an electrical signal. The time from ultrasonic transmission to being received again is proportional to the distance from the surface of the object being measured by the sensor. The display electronic unit detects the time, and calculates the distance from the surface of the measured object to the sensor according to the known speed of sound at the current temperature. The liquid level measurement value can be obtained through the operation of the CPU.
application
It can ensure that the ultrasonic wave can effectively propagate to the liquid surface, material surface or solid surface to be measured. Such as: storage tanks, troughs, metering boxes, pools, water tanks, wells, canals, granaries, silos, moving objects, etc.
